About Mike

“It’s such a fine line between stupid, and uh.. . . . clever.” – DST/NT/MM/SCG

Hi there, here is some additional information about me . . . .

Ever notice how many twitter bios seem the same? Throw in a fact about your job, a mention of your family and then some “wacky” fact like “ice cream addict” or “Olivia Manning enthusiast”.

Sorry this was supposed to be me – I was born and raised in New Jersey (Belleville born, Verona raised). I attended the best school in the world – Forest Avenue School – where I learned to fear for my life in the Pit and yell FOOOOOCH while walking down the halls.

While at Forest Ave I also learned the secret mysteries of hidden messages in Beatles songs and album covers by my second grade teacher and a young Beatlemaniac was born.

To paraphrase the great Dr. Evil, “The details of my life [after grade school] are quite inconsequential.”

As cliche as it sounds, my musical tastes are varied. Having said that I have a musical sweet tooth for melodies that border on (or fully bathe in) the cheesy (Hello Paul McCartney’s Flowers in the Dirt Album or my large collection of Yes albums), but I think if we met we would find some musical common ground . . . .

When not at the day job or ferrying children all over North Jersey, you can catch me and my life-long friend RDM on our podcast “Radio Free Jersey Presents . . . . Of All Time. Check it out here.
